A Literary Theme for the 133rd Exhibition

This year the Dublin Painting and Sketching Club are having a literary theme to celebrate Dublin winning the UNESCO Award for City of Literature in 2010.  Approximately 25 of the members will be showing paintings of an Irish Literary theme, including Aidan Hickey, who painted this ingenious portrait of Irish Author Colm Toibin.  Colm's reaction, captured here, says it all.

More information about Aidan, and images of his work can be seen on his members page on the main DPSC website and on his facebook page.
